Tuesday’s Honest Reviews – e.l.f. – Brow & Lash Gel

Brokedown Vanity - Review - elf - Brow & Lash Gel

For our Post today, it will be a review on the e.l.f. Brow & Lash Gel.

This type of product was something I use to use for work. I had a substantial job in the food industry, and while later on in that career I didn’t necessarily handle the food anymore, they did like us to maintain a more natural look. I use to also use something like this when I was in the Military. They liked us super polished for any parade square business, and my eyebrows have always been rather full and bushy(not that I mind at all). It was interesting using this sort of thing again.

My Thoughts

The smell of it is rather different. It doesn’t smell super stinky like mascara, but has its own unique smell. I wouldn’t say unpleasant, but you know they didn’t put a bunch of fluff into the formula.

I like that you get the two parts, as the wands are slightly different for better application. You also don’t have to worry about cross contamination.

Application is an easy task. The product sets well. Very good at keeping things in place.

I didn’t find that my actual hairs felt any different after prolonged use of this product, so I am not sure how conditioning it really is.

This is also a great medium to use to make a custom eyebrow colour, to match wigs and such. We did this for my daughter, as she wore a purple wig to school for halloween festivities, and wanted eyebrows to match. I just took a bit, put it in a little container, added glitter and eyeshadow, then applied. I washed off the brush fully before putting it back into the tube.

Yes, even though I think I don’t necessarily need this product to live. I was surprised at the amount I have actually went though. If I am using it, and enjoying it, I don’t see why not. Plus, e.l.f. always has such great prices.
