Edibles Review – Pure Leaf – Organic Iced Tea

Brokedown Vanity - Edibles Review - Pure Leaf - Organic Iced Tea

For our Bonus Post today, it will be a review on Pure Leaf Organic Iced Tea in Fuji Apple and Ginger Flavour.

I am a huge fan of Iced Tea. I will drink any sort of version really. I didn’t get to have pop so much when I was a kid, it was considered a treat, so my adoptive mother said. She did however get me Iced Tea in cans, which made me feel special, or like I was having something like a pop. Kid Logic I guess. As I grew up, Iced Tea continued to be one of my favorite things. I remember going out for a work dinner at a fancy restaurant in Toronto, and I ordered an Iced Tea. The lady was like, this is Southern American Style, you might not like it. I was like, I like iced tea, and have had many a kinds, hit me up! Silly Lady. I drank it just fine.

My Thoughts

I’d say this is a bit like Southern Iced Tea and a bit like what we find more common in Canada. It isn’t sweet, yet it isn’t bitter either.

This has to be the lightest iced tea I have ever had the chance to drink. It is really hard to describe. It isn’t water, that is for sure. You can tell it has a brewed tea in there, as the main flavouring. You can also very distinctly taste the apple and ginger. The ginger isn’t overpowering. If you ever has a Fugi Apple, you know that while they have a soft flesh inside, they still have an initial crispness when you bite down on them. The first bite, that is what this iced tea reminds me off.

This has such a fresh taste as well. It would be totally refreshing in summer, and I almost wish I had of tried it sooner(I had it in my review box for a good 3 months now).

The tastes doesn’t linger and set into your tongue either. You taste it, but aren’t left tasting it for literal hours on end.

I found that I enjoyed it too much, and drank it a bit fast. I was then left with the disappointment of not having anymore. The next time I have one, I’ll have to really try not to drink it down so quickly. I am bad with doing that with iced tea, so it isn’t something totally new, but I was still surprised with just how quick I drank this.

I really like the bottle, it is comfortable to hold, and doesn’t feel odd in the hand, even though it is slightly squared off. The labels come off easily, so it can be reused nicely. I have stuck some beads in mine.

Repurchase?

Yes, I would. This is the first time I have tried anything from this brand, and I really enjoyed this one. I know they have others in the line, so I would like to try some of them as well. They are a bit pricey, but I feel like it is well worth it for a special drink to sip on a movie night, or something.
