Shopping Haul – Nail Supplies

Brokedown Vanity - SH - Nail Supplies - 1a

I’ve been picking up some nail supplies here and there, so thought instead of doing a post by store haul, I would just combine all the nail things together in one post.

I picked this Limited Edition Nail Polish Kit from essie, at the Real Canadian Superstore for $2.94CAD on sale. All the colours in this kit were inspired by leather bags, and the finish of the nail polish itself is supposed to be Semi-Matte, so we will see if that holds true. It sounded nifty anyway, so I picked it up.

The two Billie nail polishes I got at Dollar Tree. They were $1.25CAD each. I got them because I realized I really don’t have many polishes in greens.

The SpaRitual polish  and the Confetti Claire’s Polish I got for $0.50 each, at St. Vincent de Paul.

I picked up the Lightning Claire’s Polish on sale(at Claire’s) for $1CAD, because I liked the one I got for my daughter so much. Now I don’t have to steal hers.

Lastly, I got the Sinful Colours polish at the Real Canadian Superstore for 1/2 off, only $0.94CAD.

With the fail of the Nail Stickers from Sassy+Chic, I thought I’d try out their Press-ons. So I picked up 2 packs of one design(each pack has 12 different sized nails, so you have to buy 2 packs, one for each hand). I also got some nail tips, for when I do end up getting around to learning how to use my gel kit. This was all $1.25CAD each.

I also picked up a few things from Dollarama. I got this faux gold and silver leaf, both for crafting and for nails. I also saw these little craft rhinestones, but thought they would work okay on my daughter’s nails, maybe. These were $1.25 each as well.

Well, that is it for this week’s haul!

    1. I think we still see Kleancolor at the dollar stores. The bottles are different though.

I did like the idea of the flakes being used for both. They aren’t branded as nail anything, but leaf applies that same way no matter what you put it on, so I thought it was worth a try.

      1. I’m dying to try that! Acrylics feel too heavy on my nails (which happen to give me pains in my fingers – but that’s because of a health issue)
I’d also recommend getting a training hand and/or fingers! I would sit and practice on those because it was just fun to do!
