Brokedown Vanity - Shopper Army - Review - Softsoap

My second item I chose that was offered by Shopper Army on behalf of Softsoap, was this Pure Zen Body Wash in Jasmine and Watermint. I chose it out of the lineup of Softsoap Products, because it intrigued me. What the heck is Watermint. I love mint things, so I figured I’d probably like this. I was also curious about the whole “creating a calming experience in your shower” thing. Could that really work? Aroma therapy is a big industry, and I do find some scent soothing.

I am going to talk about Shopper Army as a whole, at some point on the blog.  I wont get into details on all that now, but I will give you a general gist, so you know sort of why I was offered this product.

Shopper Army has also recently changed how they do things, so I sort of had to learn the system twice.

What they basically do is put up an offer for a company. You answer some questions, and they match you with products from the line, These can be totally new to the store, not yet out, or an established product that has been out, but it a consumer favorite.

You pick your product, then have a certain amount of days to go pick it up, with your own cash. Sometimes, when something is new, or not yet instore, they will send you the product. But more often than not, you have to go pick it up with your own money.

This made me a little skeptical about the site at first, but I thought I’d try it out anyways, for science!

You go through a process of steps for your offer, and once all complete, you can get a rebate for your item, through PayPal, Cheque by Mail or by Amazon Credit.

Brokedown Vanity - Shopper Army - Review - Softsoap - Code

We have to put a little code on the product and show it in use, when we submit our data to Shopper Army. I find this amusing, and with some products it really is challenging, trying to figure out how to take the in use shots. And Yes, I write like I am in Grade 3 still. Dyslexia for the Win!

Final Thoughts:

I will just include the review I posted to Shopper Army, it has just about everything I want to say.

My Official Shopper Army Review Writeup

I have been enjoying the new Softsoap Pure Zen Body Wash, in the Jasmine and Watermint variation, for a little while now.

I was recommended by my doctor to stop using bar soap, and have been using shower gels ever since. This is due to my dry, sensitive skin, as well as having eczema. Part why I decided to try the body wash from this brand is because I have tried Softsoap before, and didn’t have any adverse reactions to it. The same applies to this body wash.

The Jasmine and Wintermint scent is very relaxing, as you shower. The scent is light, not overpowering, but you can still enjoy it throughout your shower. The body wash glides and smoothly, and lathers nicely with both hands and a sponge. I find my skin very smooth after using this product.

The only downside is it comes out of the bottle really quick, so have your sponge, poof, hand, cloth, at ready, or it will drip all over.

If you are looking for something relaxing, that will work for dry/sensitive skin, then this might just be the body wash for you. Having the product come out of the bottle too fast really isn’t a deal breaker, and I will be getting this again, as the whole family likes it.

Yes, but maybe in one of the other scents of the line first. My kids liked the other Softsoap products we use, and this one was no different. I do find it really does make my shower a relaxing space for the time I am in there. The scent really is nice. I would love to have an actual perfume like this, to be honest, haha.

I don’t think I would have ever thought to buy a product that is aroma therapy based, for the shower. I know I would have thought it sort of hoaky. I am glad I got to try this out, and experience something a bit different while getting freshened up.

Thanks to Shopper Army for pairing me up with Softsoap, it was a really nice product to try, and I had a great experience trying it out.
