I had a bit of a stack of items piling up so I thought it was time to do another Mailbox Unboxing Post.
Walmart Canada had a promotion with Samplits and Schick for a trial of their new Razors. I got the information from my Walmart.ca Newsletter, and had to sign up for a Samplits account, but it only took a less than 2 minutes, so it wasn’t much of an issue.
To sign up for Samplits, here is the Official Site.
I don’t use razors often anymore, with all the issues I have been having with reactions to shaving products, and even conditioner on my legs.
I do however still use razors on my armpits, so that is what this baby will be used for. Will be testing it out for the next few months.
Redavid is hosting a Hair Challenge, which you can apply to HERE. After you apply, they send you the products you need for the challenge. I received these super fast after applying. This is for Canadian Residents only.
I made a few purchases on Amazon.ca for the first time. I had a giftcard, so I thought I’d try it out and see what I could find. I was a little surprised at the prices of some of the things on there, haha.
It took me a while to find some things I either really wanted, or needed, but I did eventually manage it. I was waiting for all my items to arrive, I ordered 5 in total, but one got lost in transit(seller gave me a refund) and the other still hasn’t arrived, so I am waiting for that one to get resolved as well(seller asked for an extra 2 weeks just to see if it would show up).
I got these for $4.29CAD during a weekly promotion. This shop puts select items on sale every week, and I just got lucky while looking for earring hooks. These also came super quick, which was a nice surprise.
The quality of these are great, and I have already made a set of earrings to test the quality, and I have had no allergic reaction, so it is real surgical steel and not false advertising.
I really read reviews on this one, as I am allergic to lots of things in various metals, and I needed something not coated and filled.
The hooks all came in good shape, there was no broken or wonky ones.
I wanted to try a more solid press-on nail sticker, and I picked these to try. I know you can get them elsewheres(like aliexpress) for cheaper, but again . . . giftcard.
I haven’t tried these yet, but they seem fairly solid, and sticky. I like that you get the trimlines, for better fitting.
I paid $2.38CAD for these foils. I know you can get them elsewheres for cheaper, but giftcard . . . shrugs.
They came in great condition. While I am not totally happy that they are folded in half, I know many do come packaged like this. I know some put them rolled in tubes, but they still end up sort of wonky. It doesn’t change how they are used much, and it doesn’t damage the actual foil. You just have to be a bit more cautious when using the folded parts.
This one got me rather excited. I have never received such an interestingly coloured package.
Benefit Cosmetics sent me their “Precisely, My Brow” Pencil. They added some more shades to the line, and while I am not one of them right now, I do really appreciate there is something I could use if I went red again.
I’ll be trying this out and reviewing it very soon.
I had a Sephora Order come sometime, it was a late gift for my birthday. I have featured a few of the products already, I think. I remember not wanting to bore you all with my birthday stuff, so I had put it off to the side. I was cleaning and found it, and felt like a bit doof.
I did try a few things out, and I think they even ended up on the blog, but mostly nothing else from that time. So I will be playing with this all this month.
I will leave the unboxing for the lipkit for next week I think. I have been loving the tarte Amazon Clay items, so was glad to have this.
These were the samples picked for me. There must have been a promotion at the time this was ordered for me, because there is an extra one in this box.
That is it for now. Wonder what will come in the mail this month!
