For our Post today, it will be a review on the Wet n Wild Limited Edition PerfectPout Lip Scrub.

Having only ever tried one lip scrub previously, I really don’t have much of a benchmark for comparison.
It does the job it is supposed to do, and I don’t react to any of the ingredients, so that is always a plus.
It smells one way and tastes another. I was actually mildly shocked when I first tasted it. I was something more orange/mandarin based, but it is grapefruit flavoured, mostly. I am so bad at describing scents, but the scent is an odd mix. It almost is like there is papaya or passionfruit in there somewhere. I think that is why the taste was shocking to me, it smells really sweet, then you get grapefruit, haha.
It feels sort of dry, it isn’t super sticky. It is easy to use and clean off. It does leave behind a sort of coating, like lipbalm, after use. The granduals in it are a good size, and scrub your lips nicely, without making them raw.
If you do accidentally get it in your mouth, it isn’t bad, but it will leave your tongue feeling like you ate olive oil, you will have a residue on your tongue. Wears off in about 15 minutes.
The other thing is this does come in a pot, so you do have to make sure you either use a tool to get it out, or you wash your hands before getting some out to use.
Not Likely, I think I’d want to try the Watermelon one before I’d try to find this again. They still have a few circulating in the stores, so I do have the chance, even if it was a Limited Edition item.
I am a bit thrown off by the “No Fragrance” Claim. It does smell like there is something synthetic to it, and in the Ingredients list there is “Flavor/Aroma”, which seems like a fancy way to just rephrase it. “Natural Flavour/Aroma” would have looked better, if that is truly what it was.
I think this product works just fine for what it is, but I do like my e.l.f. Lip Scrub better. It is more hygienic, and easier to use anywhere, anywhen. If I had to give it a number out of 10, this would be about a 6.5 for me. It works great, but didn’t wow me.
