I had a few more things come in the mail, which I thought I’d share on the blog. I always enjoy seeing my flag up on the mailbox now, as I never know who is going to be sending what, when. It has been a rather fun experience so far, with all the review and mail sampling.
Sampler sent me these less waste tampons. I haven’t used Tampons in years, but this is something I could get behind, for emergency situations, or swimming.
I have a funny story about these. Though I have never tried them yet, I do have a friend that has used them. She offered on to me, when she heard I haven’t used tampons in over 20 years, due to how my body is shaped. They just were not very effective for me, in the past.
Well, she gave it to me in a bar, and I was like where will I stiff this? They are so small, so I stuck it in that useless little change pocket most jeans have. Then I proceeded to forget about it.
Come laundry day, while checking pockets, I skipped over the little change pocket thingy, ’cause seriously, who ever uses those? Well lo and behold, after the cycle was done, and I am getting everything out, there is the little tampon, in the package, totally dry at the bottom of the washer. Haha, I don’t really know how it survived, the wrapper did a might fine job at keeping it alive.
I have never tried anything from Benefit, so when TopBox sent me an offer to try out some of the Benefit They’re Real! Mascara, I hopped on that. Mascara has to be the one thing I will always wear, even if I am allergic to it most of the time. My eyelashes are so blonde, almost see-through. I don’t have too many either and they grow super slowly. Which is weird, because my finger nails and my head hair grows stupid fast.
So I basically look like I don’t have any eyelashes at all most of the time, without the mascara. It creates either a sort of alien effect, making my eyes seem way larger than their already huge scale, or I look just plain sick, like it all just up and fell out.
That is why I am all for trying new mascaras. I tend to like lengthening formulas the most, because what is the point of curl and volume if you have little stubs?
Anyways, looking forward to trying this out when one of my current 3 tubes that I am using, run out.
‘Til Tomorrow
