Final Thoughts:

The samples lasted me 4 applications, which I thought was a good amount to figure out if this was the sort of product I have been wanting for my skin. While I love swimming, an I have lost about 30 pounds since March from doing the weekly swimming, which is just fabulous. It does take a toll on my hair and skin. Being dry skinned, sensitive and pron to eczema, this causes extra issues with my skin hydration, on top of me being allergic to chlorine. It is one of the main reasons why I stopped being a life guard(one of my early jobs in life), because I just didn’t want to deal with the constant upkeep of my body under the harshness of the chlorine.

So this time around I have been searching for something I can apply either in the shower or on moist skin, that would lock in my just cleaned skin with the moisture it needs. I also needed something that would work with any allergy or eczema cream I would have to use, in the event of my skin reactions.

This so far has really worked. I tested it on my upper body, from chin to about 2 inches below my belly button. I have other things I use on my legs, as that is where the chlorine hits the hardest(as well as my poor hair and scalp).

This applies on rather easily, absorbing quickly into damp skin. It leaves me super soft and smooth. The scents are wonderful, not overpowering, but do last over the course of the day or night(if you shower before sleep).

The constancy is a bit different from anything I have used before. It really does look like and sort of feel like yogurt. I like to keep it in a cool place, so it is rather refreshing to put on after my shower(cooler when swimming, fridge when at home).

I have always enjoyed naturally scented products, so the mango is just wonderful, the almond is great too. The other scents are great too, but these were the ones that called to me the most.

I’ve had no negative reactions to it topically, nor to it scent wise.

Would I Purchase?

Yes, and I already have. I picked up the Limited Edition Banana one, my daughter sort of goaded me into it. She loves bananas and thought it would be nifty to have a banana smelling mom, haha. I will be picking up the full version of the Mango one, once this runs out.

Thanks to The Body Shop for letting me have the samples to try out. It was a great promotion, and I was really happy to be able to see if these would work before I purchased them. The ladies at my local The Body Shop are always super great, and very wonderful each time I come into the store.

‘Til Tomorrow

Helen
