Review – Calvin Klein – Fragrance

Brokedown Vanity - Review - CK One

Not much left, better get a new one!

While I am setting out to discover new things(in regards to this blog), I have decided to ultimately feature alongside all the new discoveries, all the items that just work.

Finding a product that works with my dry skin, allergies and eczema is no small feat.

Fragrance in general has always been a rather touchy subject. I can barely stand to go by the counters in the department stores, let alone sit there and actually try things on.

Years ago, my omi had given me some samples she had received from The Bay. Amongst the samples was Calvin Klein’s One.

I can’t say for sure, but I suspect that because it is marked as a unisex scent, maybe, just maybe, it lacks some of the extra ingredients that seem to set me off with most of the feminine lines.

I can actually wear it all day with very little issue. The initial spray, which I apply to my wrist, then dab to behind my ears and front decolletage, will make me slightly uncomfortable nasally. My decolletage will have a bit of a skin irritation(red blotch), for maybe ten minutes. After that initial period of putting it on, I am actually okay. I also have never gotten headaches from the fragrance.

While it is not an item I would ever deem as hypoallergenic, it is one that I find to have less reactants in its formula. Maybe you will have some luck with it too.

Buy it on Walmart.ca.

‘Til Tomorrow,

Helen

All items featured were purchased with my own money, gained by some other means, like awesome gifts from peoples, trades, or perhaps even a promotion of some sort.***
